WHAT SETS US APART
Member Focused
The NJCAAE is focused on strengthening its member institutions to drive the success of their esports programs through the use of member input, member guidance, and member data. This has resulted in the association being the first to implement many things, including recruitment assistance, professional development courses, program development materials, and much more!
Divisional Splits
To create competition conducive to every institution's needs, the NJCAAE created a divisional splits, currently referred to as Tiers. Each tier is unique in what it provides for participants, whether it be high level competition or just general activity they can enjoy with new and old friends!
Engage Everyone
The NJCAAE offers an open level of competition, free of student eligibility requirements! Association members are encouraged to use the Open Series as a way to drive engagement, opportunity, and education within their local community.
Regional Competition
As the first collegiate esports association to take steps into creating regionalized competition for member institutions, the NJCAAE has further solidified its focus on its members. This regional focus leads to localized connections, rivalry, story building, and growth for member institutions and their students!
Recognition
Drawing eyes to NJCAAE member institution's and their student's successes, accomplishments, and stories has been a major focus of the association since day one. This is accomplished through numerous awards, news articles, postings, and more!
Active Support
Support for member institutions is one of the top priorities of the association. With dedicated staff and active committees, the association is built to support institutions in their journey of building an esports program and competition.
HOW TO JOIN
Step 1 - Institution Administrator charged with running the institution’s esports programs fills out the NJCAAE Annual Sign-up Form.

If the institution is an existing NJCAAE member, they must fill out and submit the NJCAAE Seasonal Team Declaration Form by the designated deadline.

The NJCAAE National Office will send an invoice to the institution based of the information collected in the form.

NJCAAE Membership Dues are currently $2,000 for 1 year of membership.

Teams only need to fill out this form once per membership year.

Membership runs from August 1st - July 31st.​

Step 2 - Join the NJCAAE Discord Server if you have not already done so.

If you do not already have a Discord account, you will need to create one.

If you need assistance with joining the discord, please email esports@njcaa.org for assistance.

Message any NJCAAE Staff Member in the discord server to receive the correct role.
